More Than Mental Therapy
-
ONE-ON-ONE ADULT THERAPY
I collaborate with individuals who are committed to making room for pleasure and connection in their lives now. Together we chart a map of personal and relational growth unique to you, using techniques from the creative arts and theatre therapy. It's you and me over 8 weeks of guidance, supported by self-led explorations between sessions.

Relationship Counselling
Couples, polycules, friends, allies, relational dynamics of all configurations. The purpose of conflict is to create something new. You might be transitioning from monogamy to an open relationship, from BDSM protocol into vanilla, or perhaps you need space to chart out your share of day to day tasks together. Sex-positive therapists are often hard to come by, however I create a judgement-free space for you to explore your identity and expression.

SINGLE SESSION ONLINE THERAPY
You're motivated and driven, and you need a signpost to get you on your way. Or it's your first time seeking somatic therapy. Or you need to add a few tools to increase your communication skills. After one session you come away with a new understanding of how to relieve stress and anxiety, plus exercises to integrate into your daily life, so you can carry on thriving.
let’s play.
In a creative arts therapy space, you harness the power of nonverbal expression to understand how to navigate anxiety, and start untangling from traumatic memories and emotions.
To access mental health services, there is usually a range of talk therapy options to choose from. But when you are seeking PTSD treatments, or learning how to relieve stress and anxiety, talk therapy alone is often not enough to sustain long-term relief, and it can even be harmful to use words to describe painful memories and emotions.
There’s a solution. The cognitive part at the front of the brain acts as a defensive guard against overwhelmingly painful experience. Creative arts therapy techniques gently navigate around these defences by instead engaging the limbic system, the emotional centre of the brain, which lights up with imaginative nonverbal expression of metaphor, somatic physical movement, storytelling, and role play.
I completed the MA of Drama Therapy Program at Concordia in Montreal, Quebec in 2020. I support clients with sexual issues in counselling, having undergone an intensive sex therapy training through Guelph University in 2023. I have training in suicide prevention and crisis intervention, support for survivors of sexual abuse, and kink & polyamourous relationship support. Using the arts therapies, I've supported adults going through big transitions at all life stages, including university students, Holocaust survivors in long-term care, people in the disabled community, and underhoused people. I’ve offered therapy for anger, therapy for self esteem, mindfulness group therapy, conflict management and other types of group therapy in these clinical and community spaces. Alongside my work as a mental health therapist I am a community arts facilitator supporting groups to create unconventional theatre, animated film, and clowning as political action.
I am a registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor offering counselling services in-person in Montreal, Quebec and online across Canada.

Please ensure that you check with your insurance provider in your province if you are able to have certified counselling (in Quebec) or registered psychotherapy (in Ontario) covered for reimbursement. I am also a member of the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists Association.
In counselling we look at areas of your life that contribute to stress and create a plan unique to your situation that includes coping skills, resources, techniques and approaches for improving relationships. Issues such as anger, anxiety, and conflict management are addressed. These are identified and supported with a plan of future-focussed action.
Psychotherapy offers tools for insight into underlying emotional, relational, and sometimes physical issues that impact quality of life, with the intention to improve social and intimate interactions, as well as the relationship to oneself.
