My Story

I am a white settler living on unceded land in Tio:tia’ke known as Montreal, Quebec. I am a queer bisexual kinky polyamourous neurodivergent nonbinary femme. I am a recovered people-pleaser!

I am a theatre performer and visual artist from England. I grew up between festival meadows in the British countryside and suburban lawns in Oshawa Ontario. I’ve lived in Thailand and Australia and I’ve travelled slowly through Asia, Europe and America.

I got into this line of work as an arts facilitator and adult sex educator in community settings. Since moving permanently to Canada ten years ago I have been an art-activist in Toronto and Montreal. I make theatre, film, and puppetry with people who have dis/abilities, challenges with under-housing, and lived experiences in the sex trade.

I reach across artistic and mental health disciplines to explore how difficult memories become stuck in the body and ways playful physical movement can transform them. I have presented talks and art centred on creativity in sexuality, and the nervous system's role in emotional regulation.

Outside of therapy sessions I practice movement meditation. I enjoy hiking and cycling in nature. I am an avid reader of fantasy and fairytale. I listen to polyamory and relationship podcasts. I hang out with my small cat. I am committed to a lifelong learning of anti-racism in both my professional and personal circles.
